Best Cardio workout to get chiseled out
I'm just looking for some workouts that have been used and worked for people for getting that bf% down and looking ripped. I'm running winni and clen right now. Third week of winni and first week of clen. Heard from a guy at the gym that "power" walking on an incline worked best for him. Any others? Thanks alot bros

i simply do fast brisk walking on a treadmill. as long as my hr is 65-75% of my max hr, i am good for pure fat burning.

thanks bro, i'll have to take note of my heart rate from now on, i didn't know that really had anything to do with burning fat.

heart rate has everything to do with fat burning. i found out the hard way and lost valuable muscle. you cannot really gauge your heart rate UNLESS you get a heart rate monitor. beleive me its worth the investment and they are cheap. good luck

i can't seem to find any heart rate monitors anywhere online for cheap. I'm finding everything at more than 50 bucks. Any place you know of that there are cheaper ones?

get them on wal-mart or try ebay. i for one got an expensive polar. price is justifiable since i use it like everyday and expect long hours of service for many years to come.

Make sure your diet is in check too. AandF6969 went on a cutting diet a month ago and didnt do any cardio and lost about 6 or 7 lbs. I went on the same diet last week and I lost 2.5lbs. Granted last week was our off week at the gym, but I did my running in the morning (lite jog for 2 miles) and I noticed the droppage today.

Diet is just as important if not more so than the cardio for losing fat. Anyway just like everyone else said, walk in the AM on an empty stomach 65%-75% HR. Ive cleaned up my diet and done cardio for a week and I can already tell a difference in the tightness of my stomach and chest in particular.

as far as cardio goes i would have to say the eliptical (cross trainer) machine is probablt the most time and energy efficient. You will burn more caloris on that in 20 mins then you will walking at a brisk pace/jogging slowly, because you have to use your arm as well as your legs so your body is working harder.

Bottom line, the best cardio to get chisled is whatever cardio you want to do. If you want to maintain your muscle while getting chisled then you will walk briskly. If you want an added boost, read the clen handbook and see if its for you

i'm already on clen right now, i'm almost a week into it. My diet is pretty good now, it could be better and i'm working on it. I will definately look into the heart rate monitor and keeping that at the point where i'm burning fat though.
thanks for the info, good post bros.

The whole heart rate thing is pretty foreign to me I'm embarassed to admit.

you guys say taht you like to do cardio somewhere between 65-75% hr.. what does this mean? what if your hr is more then 75? or under 65 when doing cardio...?? just curious..

if you are over 75% then you will be burning muscle and not fat, if you are under 65% you arent burning fat. Our goal is to be at 65-75% for PURE fat burning (lipolysis).

your max heart rate= 220 bpm minus your age. I am 23 so my max=197(Never EVER go higher) then to get the most eficient FAT burning range you have to work out 65-75% of THAT number (so for me it is 65-75% of 197) thaerfore I train between 150 and 168bpm ISH (I dont have a calculator)

some peopel say 65-70% and some say 65-75% of max. . for me, 70% is a 140 and 75% is a 150. that would make a huge difference to the intensity of my cardio.
is one more "right" than the other?

Your MHR is 191. So keep it in the range of 125 - 144.
MHR = 217 - (0.85 * age)

it seems that the less intense the cardio, the less it seems it would burn fat. but i guess things arent always as they seem, lol

another question bro's
i'm running Clen right now and my resting HR is around 114. my max rate is 199, which leaves my 60% at 119 and my 70% at 139. When i walk fast on an incline my HR is like 155-160. Should i just keep going with what i'm doing walking on the incline or change to a different exercise?

i guess i am different from everyone else what has always worked well for me, is short cardio that is 100% balls to the walls.
the program i usually do is this. 4 minutes the first 2 sessions. 30 seconds jogging, 30 seconds sprinting absolute full speed, repeat until you get to 4 minutes.
every second session go up 1 minute.
it sounds easy, but unless you are in tip top cardio shape, it is humbling.
