    time off (completely)

I am a complete workout addict. Of course I take scheduled time off during my workout regimen... 2 days on 1 day off etc.. but right now I am out of state visiting a friend and I wont be able to workout for 5 days straight. Is this actually a good thing? Will my body benefit from this much rest? Im still taking my AAS, but it is very hard for me to miss so many days in a row. Any input would be appreciated.

Enjoy the time w/ your friend. Don't worry about not working out for five days. It is highly unlikely a detraining effect will occur. If so, for the people who work each muscle group once a week (seven days), they would never see progress because they would detrain in between sessions. You're fine. Don't worry about it~

No, I was the same way. Then realized a few days off "once in a while" is not going to slow your progress. It is when this few days off turns into a frequent habit, then. .

I agree. I usually take 3-5 days off when I switch routines, so once every 3 months or so.

OK, but how is your performance in the gym when you go back? Do you feel weaker? And if so, do you get your strength back easily?
