    Getting started

Accidently posted this in the supplements section, but I do need advice in both supplements and workout routine so here it is again.

    Hey fellows,

First of all just wanted to say that this board is pretty amazing with all the info (hell of a job guys). Second I am getting ready to really go after some gains and need a little advice on a good routine. I am about 150lbs and find it difficult to put on weight. Right now I only workout about three times a week just to keep fit and do full body workouts. Any advice on a routine is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again

If you do full body workouts (that's what I'm thinking I'm reading) then you will have a hard time gaining mass. Isolate those muscles, hit each one hard on their respective days and you will see results, especially if you are taking productive supplements. Something like this:

    Day 1: Chest, Back, Abs

    Day 2: Bi's, Tri's, Shoulders, Traps

    Day 3: Legs, Abs

Key is using heavy weight to see the mass increase.

this is my current workout. I am a hardgainer too, this helped me gain 14 pounds in just under two months.

    sun: back and bi's
    mon: quads and calves
    tue: off
    wed: chest and tris
    thur: off
    fri: shoulders and hams
    sat: cardio

I don't know if you want to do cardio at all, weighing 150, but that's what I did just once a week, after 2 months I look like a whole new person! Good Luck.
