Personally i wont touch Good Mornings... Ive a lower back problem from my early days in athletics... I live with constant back pain, and Good Mornings turns that bareable pain into agony. So, cant help you out, sorry. Haha. Best of luck

Hoss, do you seriuosly not know what good mornings are?

If not, they are primarily a lower back excercise.

Place a bar on your neck like squats and bend forward at the hips, keeping a slight bend in your knees and bend forward to a little under parallel (your upper body to the floor) and then pull back up with your lower back.

One of the best exercises to work the posterior chain. I used to go heavy on these before, but I tend to do em a bit lighter now.

I was going to reply to this until I realized you meant bodybuilder-style GMs, as displayed by Arnie in his Encyclopedia, and not Westside powerlifting-style chain suspended GMs.

I was convinced I actually had impressive numbers to post there for a second!

Wow I didn't realize ppl actually did Good Mornings...I've seen pictures of it in older workout books but have never once seen it done in the gym. Personally it scares the **** out of me. I'd expect my first rep to be accompanied by the sound of cracking timber aka my back splitting in two. Mechanically it just doesnt seem like it would be good for you at all - none of you have ever had any problems doing them?

You got me beat bro...........best so far (due to the fact I'm waiting on a release from the doc) is 135 x 20. I love to do these but I always have trouble kepping the bar from rolling off my back and skinning the back of my head.

Straight bar, cambered bar, ssb? Seated, free standing, narrow stance, wide stance? Arched back, round back flat back? Chain suspended?

I'm a powerlifter if you can't tell. My best free standing arched, wide stance is 550.

Those are definitely the hardest. I think my best is somewhere in the neighborhood of 400. Pretty weak for a powerlifter.
