    Neck Pain with Shrugs?

Anyone get these the day of shrugs? I do traps and delts in the same routine and i have been getting pain in my neck that is a sort of blunt annoying pain. I do 3-4 sets of barbell shrugs followed by 3-4 sets dumbell shrugs. I dont even use a whole lot of weight i focus more on the form and a higher rep count. (Deadlifts add the thickness i need/want). Any similar problems? any solutions?

Are you staying in a vertical plane? As in straight up/straight down?

No, he doesn't roll his shoulders. Maybe the pain comes from looking to your right? That was my only suggestion as to stay in a vertical plane. Sorry to be no help.
