    Close grip upright rows

I have been doing close grip upright rows for the last 3 weeks and I could definitly notice a difference in my traps.

Anyone else do close grip upright rows?

I also heard if you do wide grip upright rows it hits more of the side deltoid.

Very true, closer the grip the more it works on the traps, the wide grip (at the top of the movement your hands are in front of your shoulders) works the side delts very well. I like to switch them up.

close grip upright rows are a NO NO... bad for the rotator cuffs.. hence nickrizz pain and others.

    shoulder width apart

dally here... too lazy to log outta sk.

nope its a American Staffordshire terrier.

pretty similar to a american pit, but all pure staffs have a solid black nose.. like this fella.

    take care mang

also if you want canon ball shoulders.

try bending over at more than a 45 degree angle and raise some db's from your sides arching to the front .. like front side raises .. move it around in the movement for whatever works for you ... like bringing it infront of your face or at shoulder width.. but if you can do 30 pounds at more than 15 reps ... you got some good strong shoulders man. Its a hard but really effective movement.

and or ... lay on a bench at a 45 degrees on your side and do some lateral type raises to parallel to the floor at the end of the movement.... so arm pointing down at start to arm parallel to floor at end.

again.. 20 some odd pounds is tough... I can press over 3 plates on the smith and its hard and it burns to get out 15 of those.

(arnold used to do em) lying side laterals.

    later mang
