I just read the book, still reading it too. Did you get the new one? I think its pretty good, looking forward to trying some new routines that I've read about, especially some of the back routines.

lots of old school principles that are tried and true. Flex- stretch, flush sets, 21's, muscle confusion theory...etc. Great desktop reference manual, although its in my closet right now...LOL.

I bought an original copy from the 80's of his encyclopidia. If there was any doubt that Arnold juiced, just try to do his routine to a "T" naturally, you WILL overtrain! I like to use parts of his routine like run 15 rep warm ups down to 3-4 reps to hit all the fibers, but you gotta be jakked to copy it exact.

I was disapointed at first with his book because I didnt learn much, but I am interested in his
6days a week, two workout, advance program, I tried it and well I had fun for a week then I quit it. Anyone ever tried that kind of program?

I personally love Arnold's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding. While his routines are near impossible for a working person, he explains everything there is to know about the sport down to the smallest detail. Besides the information, the pictures of every major bodybuilder ever plus all the Arnold pics can make the most unmotivated person want to run to the gym. I bought mine at amazon, but you can find them at used book stores to.

i think its a good one but his routines are unrealistic for natural bodybuilders and most juicers,he must of had awsome recovery cause i cant do 16 set calves exercises everyday or or 16 sets of chest exercises every second day

On second thought, might just dig that ol book out tonight and give it another read through. Great info.
