    Question Cardio?

I am wondering how many of you do cardio on the days you lift?

I think it would be best to split it up if i am correct?

I will be doing some AM cardio around 6:15am and then workout (lift) at 6pm due to work and school schedule.

My membership to the gym is active as of today and i am wondering since i missed AM cardio this morning, when i go tonight to do chest/shoulders should i finish off with some cardio?

I am cutting and my lifting looks like this:

    Monday - Legs
    Tuesday - REST
    Wednesday - Chest/Shoulders w/ AM Cardio
    Thursday - REST
    Friday - Back/Traps
Saturday – REST w/ AM Cardio
Sunday – Arms w/ AM Cardio

    Whatcha think?

    What your aims?

Looks like too much cardio to build mass, if thats your goal.

No, this is a cutting diet as my original post suggests.

keep the cardio and lifting seperate. skip the cardio if you miss it in the morning IMO. sounds like you are just starting up since you just got your memebership to the gym. therefore dont worry about skipping cardio on your first day. youve got a long road ahead of you so take it one steop at a time.

    1. Many people do cardio on the same day they lift. Make sure you have time to recover, and supply you body with the nutrients it needs between sessions.
    2. You are correct. Split it up, this is more effecient.
    3. Don't bother with cardio tonight.
    4. Watcha think? Up the cardio sessions. 3x/week is a good starting point. DIET?

yea i would say dont drop below 3x a week. but of course more is better. im not even doing cardio right now and i have effectively lost weight on a cutting diet.

also, ideally you would do cardio in the morning so that you can do it on an empty stomach, then lift in the evening so that your ppwo meal can be your dinner.

Yeah, i have a thread in the DIETS section that has my current diet.

Cardio will be done in the morning on an empty stomach.

Enjoying my pro/flax now (can you feel the sarcasm) and then ready to crash out.
