How often do you guys change your weightlifting routines? I change mine every 5 weeks. That's when I change the exercises, the splits, the order I do exercises, etc.
Is 5 weeks long enough, too long?

no its sounds about right.. i change mine up around that long too.. i dont change it by much but i get bored of the same routines around that point..
I would go a little longer like 8-9
I change mine anywhere from 6-8 wks
three weeks is the best way to go.
I have a rotating schedule. Weeks 1 and 2. Different routines each week that rotate.
Could you explain this?Quote:

Ok so for week 1 for back you will do bent barbell rows, week 2 you will do t-bar rows.Quote:

I change mine up literally everytime i work out. there is almost never a time that i have two consecutive workouts for a bodypart. I think i might do the same for a month to see how much weight i can increase and keep track of it
Hey Ice man, what's your reasoning for having a routine like that?
I was serious, why do you change exercises every week?
i do different excercises every time i workout also.
i change the days i work a body part about every month or whenever i feel the need.
"Don't fix it if it ain't broke"
This is the only way to measures strength progress.Quote:
