    cardio heart rate question

so when doing cardio at greater than 70% your max heart rate you are burning muscle.. my question is: if i am doing interval training (heartrate fluxuates far above and below 70%), will my body return to a state of lyposis once my heart rate has dropped below 70% again after the workout?

The idea for Interval Training is that you quit before cortisol fills your muscle cell and breaks down muscle. You need a post workout meal right after. The benifit is that it speeds up your metabolism for many hours after, which burns fat (lyposis).

I'd rather walk on an empty stomach in the morning (or 3 hours after last meal) for 30 - 50 minutes.
