critique please
I just wanted to know if I would still get the same benefits from doing my workouts on consequtive days as I would if I done them alternate days, this is because of my job and cant always get to the gym when I would like.
My normal routine is this :
Mon : Biceps / chest / Abs / 20 min cardio
Wed : Back / Triceps / Shoulders / 20 min cardio
Fri : Legs / Abs / 20 min cardio
But this week I done it on wed, thurs, and fri and will start back today.
I know I need to get more exersizes in there but this is just the basic structure that I try to stick to but will it mess things up but doing it 3 days off the run ?

You could do it 3 consecutive days if need be. However, you may wish to do biceps & back instead of chest. Alot of back exercises incorporate the bi's indirectly. Same for chest & tri's so do the next day together . You may wish to include some trap exercises during the shoulder day too.

I kind of have the same problem because I can't lift on Wed. I try to keep my leg day and the weekend in between my chest and back days to give them some more time to recover. I just can't do chest then back on consecutive days. Last week looked like this for me:
Mon: Chest/Shoulders/Tris
Tues: Legs/Calves
Fri: Back/Bis
I agree about putting tris with chest and bis with back. I was doing it the same as you are and I was over training my arms big time. Hitting them twice a week was just too much. Also, by the time I got around to working my tris or bis, they were already slammed and my workout was pretty weak.
But, that's just me. Take it for what it's worth.

Yeah I agree with what u are sayin about the exersizes, kind of makes sense if I think about it, think il do it like you guys say because at the minute im doing my bench press and incline press then il do my biceps and there already tired off the previous chest work.
Any tips on what exersizes are best to really beef up my biceps cos at min my knowledge is limited and only do bicep curl on the cable machines

D-Bell Curls
Barbell Curls
Hammer Curls
Preacher Curls
I would use exercises that allows the most weight to be lifted. Machine cables would be an ok finishing exercise.
