yea dont rotate ur shoulders, i see alot of people doing that at my gym, and i tell them all the same thing, thats very bad for ur shoulder, u can really hurt ur shoulders doin that...up and down, up and down....thats the way to do it bro!
Up and down, and don't forget to hit them with narrow grip upright rows too !.

if you can rotate yourshoulders without hurting yourself you not using heavy enough weight! :D

yea i hit uprights before shrugs always to....gutta get them pumped for the shrugs!!!
I agree up and down. And go slow and squeeze at the top of each rep.

I wouldnt do then n circles. My friends used to yell at me 4 doing them like that. They said u can tear your rotator cuff.
