I pulled a muscle on the right side of my neck and trap 2 wednesdays ago. It hurt, but not that bad, just like a bad stiff neck..anyway i kept lifting the rest of the week, and by the following monday i couldnt even move, I had to go to the hospital. Anyway, its now almost 13 days later and I'm still in pain, haven't been to the gym in a week and a half.
Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is you might as well be careful and take a few days off now to let it totally heal.

What About Maybe Doing Pushups?
Why not workout your upper body? Makes sense to rest a few weeks otherwise you risk making it worse.
