    Thumbs up lying side raises

    wonderin if any bros have done or are doing lying side raises for shoulders? saw em in flex a couple months back and wonderin if they work pretty well. always lookin for new exercises to shock the muscles.

    I used them quite a bit in the past. Very strict side deltiod movement, and it doesn't involve the traps like lateral raises or upright rows.

    Full range of motion is important. I start the movement with the dumbell almost touching the floor. You don't have to use a very heavy weight either. They worked very well at building my side and rear delts.

    Yea it's good keeps your body from swinging but you do not need alot of weight. If you modify it by bending your arm 90 deg you turn it into a good rotator cuff exercise.
