Help with Footwear
Hey all, can anyone give me any suggestions about footwear for bodybuilding training? I do not have much experience with "performance" footwear so any help would be great. I need a good arch support do to some mild Plantar Fascaitis. Any help would be great...
Thanks

Well if you use a soft sole shoe like a trainer thats designed to compress to reduce impact while running, you can find that under a heavy weight they lose some stability. I found my form was detiriorating after i began to lift heavy. I got a back injury and when i came back i switched to wearing my cats to see if i could get better stability. I found my form instantly improved as did my stability. Never gonna go back to trainers again!

I go barefoot (granted I have Gold's at my house). Squats, leg press, everything. Hey Arnold did it.

A lot of people like converse or cheap shoes with a flat rubber sole for doing deadlifts/squats for the reason that Prime said.
