    really frustrated right now

i just got my wrist straps in the mail today. i need to use them tonight. i got the kind that is just 1 piece without a hole or loop already in it. It is a "loop style" strap. the explanation on the website powerstraps.com is not detailed enough. i need help on learning how to put them on. i got deadlifts tonight.

i pretty much understand how to put them on, i just dont see where the extra support is coming from, it seems like if i loosen up the grip of a pretent bar, it all just unravel?

actually maybe even more than that. I went from holding onto dear life for 314 for 4 reps. on my last set of 4 sets with straps, i was completely wasted. i was drained. i still got 385 for 4. i bet i could have got 385 for 8-10 if it was my first set.

The only problem using wrist wraps for deadlifts is that you will not gain more grip strength. The reason you can dead more with the wraps because it is giving you that added grip strength. Doing the deads without wraps will help you build up that grip strength you need for lifts like deads and cleans.

    thanks man.

dr. about the straps, all i care about is growing my back, besides i never used to to deads anyway, that was the 3rd time ever that i deadlifted. my forearms are plenty sore today. i did b.b rows before deads and lat pull downs after.
