I enjoy the power clean, but i'm not sure if 1.) these are good overall for lifting and 2.) my gym doesn't have any place to do power cleans at. What would be a good alternative to achieve the same results from them?

Power Cleans are good for explosive power. Squatting/deadlifts will work the muscles used in the first pull. Shrugs will work the muscles involved in the upward movement of the bar. There are no good substitutes for cleans other than other explosive lifts because the speed of contraction and specificity is not the same.
