Underhand and close grip lat pulldowns build width or thickness?
I know wide grip lat pulldowns make your lats wider (right?) but what about underhand and close grip lat pulldowns? Do they also make your lats wider or do they work your lower lats and make them thicker?
Here they are (underhand and close grip lat pulldowns):

You are right they make them thicker. Close grip anything makes your bi-ceps bigger.

Underhand will also involve more bicep & close grip with v-handle is going to add thickness upper/mid back region specifically your rhomboid major.

i find that close grip pulldowns target my lower lat.

pulldowns, pullups all of your pulling exercise.. make you wider.
rowing exercise make you thicker, this bb 101.close grip work more of the
rhoms' ,underhand is to much bicepes involved and they tirer out way before the back starts to work.
