Target Heart rate
Hey guys.. doing my morning cardio + diet + eca stack.. how do I figure out my target heart rate? I usually do 20-25 on bike then 20-25 on eliptical machine. any specific rev's per minute I should aim for on the eliptical? I guess it varies person to person eh?

220 - (your age) then take that number and multiply it by .65 and .75 whatever this will give you your target heart rate zone.

ok.. then how do u tell your target heart rate when doing cardio? my gyms crappy with no heart rate monitors? go and buy a small watch one I suppose?

phatmark is correct only way you can tell for sure is to get a heart rate monitor. its so cheap and would be a good investment in the long run.

Will do.. I shall get one today or tomorrow! so the equation is 220 - (age) then multiply that by .65 and .75?
