    Injured!

Ok, i get to the gym to start my chest routine, i lift the bar a few times bla bla bla...Got my normal weight on the bar (flat bench) and around 5 reps into a 10 rep set i fell some pain....I stretch some more in between sets and go for another 10 only getting 5 due to discomport.

Stretch again, go for another 10 and get 5 and my left shoulder (not sure where actually, shoulder area) hurts when lifting.

I said to hell with it and stopped, almost thought about heading home but i have got to accomplish something. I do shoulders on this day as well, so i moved onto front raises..not able to lift my normal weight, drop it 5lbs and then 10lbs and do my sets with a little pain in my left shoulder area. Finished those sets. Shoulder seemed ok probably due to being warmed up etc...

I went ahead and did flat dumbells, incline....not a real problem.

Now that i am cooling off and have had my PWO...my shoulder hurts.

Anyone run into any similair problem..i don't feel it is a bad injury hopefully just a strain?

Could be a pinched nerve too. Those things are tricky, as you can get a pinched nerve just by looking over your shoulder and not doing anything too extreme at all.

Could be a strain or evan the common rotator cuff areas. If you feel pain raising you arms straight in front and up that could be it. Rest is best.

Thanks bros...i am sure it just needs some rest...maybe i am looking for an excuse to do cardio 2x a day?

Yeah, it hurts raising and moving in various positions. On a 1-10 it is maybe a 3-4...
