I have a couple of different excersises for you.

One grab like the 15 lb dumbells. Do 10 front raises, 10 side raises, then lean forward and do 10 riases for rear delts. All one set. If that don't get the blood flowing, nothing will. Do this after some overhead press movement and your shoulders are done.

Another mixed one. This one is like a combo of overhead press and side raises. Grab some dumbells. Starting position in front of you... do a lateral raise movement but continue until over your head and touch them together. Kind of like a big circle. Do 5 military press. Touch them on the 5th and do the reverse movement for lateral raise back to the starting position. Do another but this time only 4 presses, back to starting position... then 3... then 2... then 1...

Do you work shoulders and traps together?

Upright rows arent really hitting your shoulders...they are targetting your traps. So unless you are working traps and shoulders together, take them out of your shoulder routine and do them during your trap routine.

    For shoulders I do

    Seated db/bb military press
Lateral raises on the cable machine
    Front raises with db

Bigger traps will also make your shoulders look bigger. For traps I do

    DB/BB shrugs
    Upright rows
Reverse flies on the pec deck machine

I work shoulders and triceps....and...back and traps together

Actually, it depends on hand position. If you have a narrow grip, it will hit more of your traps. If you have a wider grip, it will hit shoulders. But if you do this exercise for shoulders, i wouldnt recommend doing them for traps, if you do them on a different day, as there are better options!!!
