Dumbell press #'s ?
Well i dont work with a partner anymore so im too afraid to flat bench heavy weights without a good spot. So im now going to dumbell flat bench presses. What kinda weight do you guys move ? Be honest this isnt a contest just a question.
Whats your body weight and what do you put up?

Not to take away from your question Rage, but what are the DB's that the pro's press?
And Dane, we don't even have 145's at my school. The highest they go is 120, and I olny ever see them used for shrugs. lol

I weigh in at 198 now, gained about 5 pounds from somewhere...but I work out on DB flat bench every 2 weeks roughly, I normally begin with the 100's for about 10 reps and i've gone as high as the 115's for 6 reps. Incline normally I get up to the 105's.

The dumbells at my gym go up to 200lbs...and i'm not talking about the people that workout there either!
Just before I tore my tri-cep I was throwing up the 135lb DB on the incline for 6 solid reps...my Bodyweight was 260lbs and i'm 31...so you can see chest is not my strong point...but it's good enough for the girls I go with.

I think the highest we have is 160's, however sometimes they are disguised as guys of 220 and curling in the squat rack.
