Shouldnt worry, theres tonnes of things that can contribute towards your lifts, or lack of. After all not having the strength to do that extra 2 isnt that big a deal, just make it a point to aim for that 10 next time.

it confuses me still. it used to upset me terribly. i would be all depressed until the next time bench day came around. you just have to accept that you are not going to be at 100% day in and day out , even if diet and sleep are perfect, but most of the time you should be 100%.
you have absolutely nothing to worry about. in fact, every time it happens to me, i almost always not only match my best, but actually break my record the nest time. so if i were you, i would get that 11 rep the week after a ****ty bench day.

you could have been tired... maybe your blood sugar was low and gave you low glycogen in the muscles
maybe you didnt eat a good breakfast
maybe you didnt get enough sleep
you'll be fine. small little things like that can make an influence on how strong you are for the day
it happens to the best of us

My bench is my worst part, i don't give two ****s what the guy next to me has on the bar.
I lift 50lbs on each side of the bar and that is sufficient for me, i am of course not looking to bulk either...i had chest day yesterday..i struggled a bit more than last week. Like said above, you will never be 100% all of the time.
