I want to be able to do the splits but progressing very slow... advice?
I want to be able to do the splits as I want to be able to be more flexable and kick higher//better but seem to be progressing very very slowly... Any way to help me be able to go lower? How often should I try and stretch out my legs? And sometimes if I go to do it more than once a day my groin hurts like a bitch.

Practice is key doing before & after exercise. Using a partner helps tremendously. Some people never can achieve full split so don't worry. I took TKD for 5 yrs 4-5 days a week and new many great black belts and some still could not and I am talking about guys training for years. Quite a few years back I bought 2 machines to help me and used them when watching tv help alot. If you are not consistant forget it as it gets harder as you age. By the way look at my profile and you can see one of my kicks..
