optimal ab workout routines per week

I currently work my abs 3x a week, very hard. How often do you work out your abs? What do you think the optimal ab workout per week would be to get ripped abs, 2x, 3x or more?

Ripped abs are all dependant on BF% in my opinion...

I hit them heavy just like any other muscle once a week. Imo the do 5 sets of 50 reps and stability ball pillates stuff isnt what it gonna take. If the muscle is bigger it will have a more defined edge to it when you shed the blubber.. This is my take

I would personally prefer 2x a week. High reps one day with bodyweight, ex: crunches, reverse crunches, v-ups, leg lifts, hanging leg raises, etc, etc,. On the second ab training day, add some external resistance. Do everything weighted.
Ultimately it boils down to diet/cardio/bf%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERY DAY! I've slacked off for months now, but when I had my 6 pack I did a 7 minute routine everyday without stopping....my stomach got shreddedddddddddddddd. It did it for 6 weeks and saw crazy results. PM me if u want the routine...very simple.
