    need an answer here...someone who knows there stuff

    how many calories equals one pound of fat???..or in other words how many calories do you have to burn to shed a pound of fat??

    3500 kcals = 1 lb. fat.

    Yea, so they say, but that will never work. If you could program or tell your body to ONLY use calories from fat, then you could lose 1 pd by burning 3500 cals, but you have to count the cals that are used from protein and carbs too.

    That doesnt matter.. 1 lb of stored bodyfat is equall to 3500 calories... The End
