    Switching it up a little

Alright I've been on the same "split" for a while now, doing

    Sun - Shoulders/traps
    Mon - Legs
    Tues - off
    Wed - Chest/Tri
    Thurs - Back
    Fri - Bi's/abs

about 15 sets per bodypart, except for bi's tri's and abs thats around 7-8 sets. Keeping it around 6-8 reps. I ran this split when I did my first cycle also, perhaps I would have benefited more from working each muscle more frequently?

I'm thinking about a split like this for my next cycle, I don't believe it will be overtraining with the supplements I'll be taking.

    Day 1 - Shoulders/traps
    Day 2 - Legs
    Day 3 - Chest/Tri
    Day 4 - Back/Bi
    Day 5 - Rest
    Repeat

What do you guys think? Any suggestions on what I could switch up? I'll probably be going with heavy weights 4-6 reps most of the time, I'm including deca so my joints should be OK. My classes are scheduled in a way that most days I can take an hour or 2 nap before the gym so hopefully that will help if I'm feeling tired.

Just watch out for the overtraining though. Rest is vital. Perhaps try 2 on 1 off 2 on 1 off 2 on 1 off etc. That'll give you one extra rest day and give your body a welcome break instead of training 4 consecutive days.

Which one, bro the 4 on 1 off?

How many sets per bodypart do you stick to, around 12-15? I'm probably gonna be doing 5-6 sets of core movements at the beginning of the workout (bench, military, squat, deadlift depending on the day) and then move to other compound movements.

yea, your 4 on 1 off is my exact workout. work the body for 4 days and then let it rest 1. i have a hard time taking the one day off every 5th day i used to go 6 and 1 off but am gaining better with the 4 1.
