    How fast on treadmill?

    My treadmill does not have a heart rate monitor on it so what speed should i go at for 45 minutes?

    Fast enough you don't fly off the end. hahahaha

    Sounds like you should go with rate of breath exchange....in other words run fast enough you can say about a sentence before you have to stop talking and catch your breath....if you can carry on a conversation then run faster.

    Depends what your training goals are. Consider investing in a heart rate monitor. Nike, Polar or any of the other big names make good ones for relatively cheap.

    all depends on your goals (fat loss, endurance, speed etc).

    Your goal is the achieve 65% to 70% MHR (220 - Your Age = MHR). The speed of the treadmill will be determined by your overall condition. Bewteen 3.8 & 4.2 MPH @ 5 incline does it for me.

    When I do my cardio, which I don't do enough of. Treadmill EOD 45min. at 4.2mph at 11-11.5 incline. Sweat pants, hoody, MP3. Its all good from there.
