Bench Press?
Just taking opinions. What do you feel is better for building the chest flat bench using dumbells or regular straight bar bench press.

Yeah i usually try to switch it up to. The reason i ask though is cuz i cant lift at the college this semester so i had to join a gym its not the best they have decent equipment and everything the only thing is they dont really have anybody there to spot you that works there and the only other people that will be there when im working out is like older women i can do dumbells without a spot but regular bench is kinda tricky. It kinda sux i may have to workout there for a while to see if its goin to work. They have a leg sled so i'll use that for squats everything else should be fine though its just bench that im worried about.

The variation of both, combined with progressive overload.

both baby. love the barbell for the clankin of the plates and the pumps i get, love the dumbbells for the stretch and the soreness i get. both are a good workout, i like dumbbells a little better.

Having long arms, I prefer DB's cause they seem to isolate my chest more... But I try to switch things up every 4-6 weeks.

i prefer DB as I feel i get a better pump and workout throught my whole chest. I hate bp as I can never get help. I dont even know how much i can bench press, but I do know that i can do 140lbs DB's 5 times flat/incline same strenght.
