    a good heart rate monitor?

    http://www.heartratemonitorsusa.com/...polar-A-5.html

It's only 89.00 and has timer and an alarm if you go over your max heart rate or under you set lower heart rate. So it would be easy to keep in the fat burning zone. Comes witht the chest transmitter and two year warranty.

    So what do you think?

Yes, Polars are excellent HR monitors. It would be a wise investment.
