doing cardio mid day or not on an empty stomache

now im not suggesting doing it on a FULL stomach
but maybe only partially to a quarter full (just a rough estimate)

im wondering if you intake say 50g of highly complex carbs (such as oatmeal)
    or 50g of a whey/casein protein mix
within 3 hours of doing some fat burning cardio

would it help to prevent catabolic effects of cardio?

No, if anything you'll burn the glucose from the slow burning carbs for fuel instead of stored bodyfat.

Even on E you can prevent any catabolism from cardio by doing the right form of cardio for lipolysis, and by eating to support a positive nitrogen balance the other 23+ hours of the day, a place where most screw the pooch.

What is you can't do morning cardio and can only do it after your workout. How effective would this be for burning fat??

how about just taking protein... (water and protein powder no carbs/sugar/salt) 1.5-2 hours before cardio?

So your saying I'd be wasting a lot of time and energy. Also I would lose more muscle than fat??
