    How often do you train each muscle group?

    I have always trained each muscle group twice a week. I have tried once a week every now and then, but never feel like I'm doing enough when I train only once a week. I know everyone will tell you soething different, but I just wanted to know what people here think is the best because I have so little time now, that lifting each muscle once a week wold be so much easier.

    monday- legs

    tuesday-chest/front delts

    wednesday-off

    thursday-arms

    friday-back/rear delts

    sat-off

    sun-off

    i would also limit yourself to 3-4 sets for bulking + warmup

    you could also trow in traps 2x a week

    imo, i do 2 heavy and one light set, ie. for chest incline barbell, dumbell press and like a flye or cable.

    mon - legs
    tues - delts/bi's
    wed-off
    thurs-chest
    fri-back
    sat-off
    sun-off

    i'm always sore for at least 2 days though..

    Monday - back & bis
    Tueday - quads
    Wednesday - chest & tris
    Thrusday - calves & shoulders
    Friday - Hamms

    I generally do it this way and I'm finished within forty-five minutes. I change type of exercises week to week and chage up rep, sets and weight ever 12 - 16 weeks...it works for me.

    chest,legs,back,bis,shoulders once a wk calves and abs 4times a wk now and tris twice a wk

    My .02 for the busy guy....

    Monday - Squats Regular Hamms
    Tuesday - Chest and Bi's
    Wed. - Off
    Thursday - Front Squats, Hacks
    Friday - Delts and Tri'e
    Sat Back and Traps. ( never done it this way til recently and love it)
    Sunday - Off
    Alternate abs and calves thru the week

    Everything except calves once per week (calves twice, but split into gastrocs and soleus).

    Twice a week. Once a week was not enough for me. I do a 3 day split, rest for 1 day and start the 3 day split over again.
