How much can you guys Military Press?

There have been all those threads out there about how much people bench, squat, etc...How about Military press? I saw the NFL challange from a few years ago, and Warren Sapp pressed 315 a buncha times! My best is 225 for 6 seated Military Press

I don't do barbell presses anymore due to an old shoulder problem so instead I do dumbells. My last set is with 90's and on a good day I'll get 5 reps.

Have doen 275 for single, 3 plates on smith but not sure how much as bar is counter weighted. Dumbells last set is usually 120 for 6-7 reps.

I'm sorry to sound so jaded Diesel. I've met so many guys on the internet and they tell you they can lift this amount and that amount. Then when you get to the gym or even just meet them in person they look like crap or they tell you, "I've been injured and did that lift a year ago", or some stupid excuse like that.

I've just found most folks have lied to me in the past and inflated their stuff over the internet, because to many this is a place to play a fantasy role.

Hey I posted pix that are me, and I look like crap and I know it.

I have had lots of problems with my shoulders; they are the most stubborn muscle on my body PLUS they have been prone to injuries (rotator cuff?) that have prevented me from doing much weight without excruciating pain.

I just seriously overhauled my routine over the last few months; I took out anything with a straight bar (military presses, upright rows) and I started working my read delts a lot harder. The pain gradually subsided and the delts are getting stronger.

Right now I can do 55lb dumbells x 6-8 reps. I just started to do staight bar presses agian on the Smith machine, but I am going pretty easy, I am afraid of f**king something up again...

Naturally Anabolic , I pretty much do the same shoulder work out as you with the exception of the last set of 240....I was wondering When you do that one rep, do you take the bar to your ears or do you go all the way down to your neck.

When i do the first 2 sets I go 2 inches below my ears, then the last two are even with my ears....

    Thanx

If I put the same amount of energy into making money, I'D BE RICH!

Some of the most impressive lifting I've witnessed:

A member of the Boston Breakers (a short-lived minor league football team) who was about 220 at 6' 2".
Bench press: 440 lbs. X 4 reps after doing 3-5 sets with heavier amounts.

Gym member: 5' 10", 240: 10 slow, strict, seated dumbell presses with a 120 lbs. in each hand.

On TV. A pro football player training in the gym: Several reps (camera didn't stay on him very long) upright rowing w/barbell,
    275 lbs.

    Man!

    Sorry to veer the subject.

Most I ever got was 315 5x...but that was on the smith machine. I had a rotator cuff injury on my right shoulder while I was playing college football and its really given me problems for many years....until I met my good friend Deca

I personally witnessed Goldberg do 315 12x and it wasn't on the smith machine either...and it looked like he could have gotten more! That was a few years ago when he was still wrestling and it was at his gym in Atlanta - thats one strong mofo!
