    My inventoin "HellSquats"

I was doing my leg workout yesterday and thuoght id try something new.

I loaded up 85kg on to the bar, heavy enough to make this affective, light enough to control the weight thruout the squat. (My max for reps is 130kg)

Squat underneath the bar as always, stand up and step back and with your feet shoulder width apart, feet pointing out slightly.

Squat down slightly above mid point and hold for 10 seconds.
stand up,take a breath then squat down below paralell, hold for 5 slow seconds and slowly push your self back up. Thats one rep.

Do 6 more then put the bar back on the rack. 3 sets of these will hit those deep lying muscle fibres, burn the hell out of your legs aswell as engorge them with blood leaving them pumped up like never before.

**** am i in pain today, just walking around hurts.lol i love it

Give them a try, if you feel you may fall over an injure yourlself, get someone to spot you.

Don't use too much weight or you won't be able to do it.

    Looks like loads of fun

Basicly you're like doing the chair without a wall and with some weight on your back. Must be burning the quads. I'll try it sometime.

Are you saying my invention sux?
    Have you tryed it?
Just doing that once has given me thicker quads and greater seperation, particularly the speration between the quads and hams.

sounds good, im pleased you found something that works for you.

however i doubt that theres noticeably "thicker quads and greater separation" after just one session.

Do you think it's too much stress on the knees holding it for a count?? Seems like it would be alot of stress on them. I'll have to try them sometime

This sounds like a cross between the "1&1/2 method" and "forced negative/positive".
I'll have to try them just for grins and giggles.
What made the most difference to me was when I shaved my legs. I could all of the sudden see mad seperation. I kept getting acne on my legs from the tight pants. I hate wearing a pair of pants that is bigger than my waist. But when I wear pants that fit my waste, the thighs are to tight. Especially when I squat down or kneel, which I have to do all the time at work.

    Uh, yeah.

I did get slightly more mass and sepertaion. I'm not saying i gaind **** loads of mass and my legs bloond up in size after one workout(k,mon) though it would be cool. The drastic change did however spark new groth.

It allso led to sore knees a couple of days after, nothing bad though.

Its something i would NOT do all the time and would not recommend it to those with bad knees.

It was just an experiment. try them or don't,its cool.

Its like leg ext, i like doing them but i quit doing them becouse of the damage they do to your knees.
