I dont do cardio untill they feel better. You need to let them heal running will cause more breakdown and slow down the healing process. Let them rest up a little.

I did legs yesterday and performed cardio this morning. Depending on your goals, you have to be willing to give up something/or suffer to get what you want!

Not true as long as it is not excessive and post nutrition is good.

So at what level can it be done at? What should someone eat for post nutrition?

Just curious incase I ever want to do it.

Cardio can be helpful post leg workout but perhaps at 60%THR and then again less than say 20 minutes (this is my opinion). Can flush lactic acid by circulating fresh blood. And post nutrition should be immediatley after that cardio is done. Isolate whey protein for quicker assimulation and high glycemic index/load carbs to help replenish lost glycogen stores and for insulin spiking in which will blunt cortisol effects. Drinks are good for this because they have less fat and fiber content which both slows the rate of digestion.

Cardio can actually help the healing process, not hurt it.

well, i dont like doing cardio the day after legs, i plan around it. Usually legs.. day off, then cardio and arms. But everyone is right, cardio can be helpful in healing... but i dont like doing it the day after... thats my rest day..

Exactly.. also cadrio should be done right after training legs for 5 min, that does the trick for me and im not sore the next day with proper pwo.. IMO stay away from the bike after leg day, thats the only thing that kills me
