Reverse Grip Straight Bar Curls
Just started doing these 3 weeks ago. I love em. Pumps my biceps and forearms like nothing else and since I added them I feel sore elsewhere in my bicep.

That will give a great pump but less weight must be used which certainly does not mean it is not good exercise.

Did you have a problem with getting your biceps getting sore before this exercise, because i have the same problem? I work the hell outta them too.

I love reverse barbell curls.
they really pump up my arms and fully engorge them with blood, feels great

As with every body part you must concentrate on the muscle that you are working on. If your biceps are not getting hit you are probably using way to much of your hands, shoulders and forearms, along with to heavy of a weight, lower the weight and use your biceps to lift the weight, you lift the weight not the weight lift you.

What do hang cleans have to do with reverse grip curls? If your getting burn in your bi's/forearms from hang cleans, your not really doing cleans, just an ugly looking reverse curl.

i do those every once in awhile too- awesome shit. i think they're pretty hard on the wrists though- that's why i don't do them very often.

When doing these with an ez bar, do you guys do these with a close grip or wide grip? If I'm not mistaken, close grip hits more of the brachialis. Right?

closer grip = outside of muscle outer grip = inside of muscle...
anyways... does anyone like this exercise on the preacher with the ez curl bar, it feels like it works a little of my tri's when fully extended-- pretty good pump all around though
