    to workout when sick or not

    i have been sick since sunday which was my day off, i have worked out since saturday, and its wednesday, i am sick with strep throat and i have had fever. i am fealing alittle better today, should i workout or no???? will just being sick and lying in bed i am board and i was wondering if working out would be detrimental, or should i go back and workout now

    I would definitely not work out until I was feeling up to it...breaks down your immune system even more..your body will need rest.

    how long should i wait i started medicine on monday and i havent worked out since sat, will i get fatter/skinyer
    /weaker by doing nothing

    Take a break. The last time I was almost over an illness, I hit the gym. Put me right back to the beginning of my sickness and took longer to recover. Just wait till you are totally well.

    I need to heed my own advice here, but listen to your body and rest. I hate taking days off. Makes the diet that much harder, but you need to do it.
