Tredmil cardio
i just got a home tredmil and was wondering what a good workout was on it. my diet is focused more on cutting now. i was thinking about doing two 40:00 sessions on it a day. once in the morning, go for 40:0, then another 40:00 at night when i get home. what do you think? if it's no good, what do you suggest i do.

That is good for days you don't weight train, yes.
65-75% of your MHR.
A nice speedwalk, arms pumping, you're good to go!

and make sure you have a pro/fat meal approx 3-4hrs before your evening cardio to help induce greatest amount of fat burning.
but if you lift i would only do 45-1hr in mornnig.

two more questions for you guys please:
1.what is a good amount of calories and carbs to burn in one session? this thing has a carb and calorie counter.
2.i am going to be 20 next month, so i should do 220-20=200. my MHR=200. about what should i keep my heart rate at when doing cardio.
thanks, se11

1. Depends on how much weight you want to loose and when you want to lose it by. 3500 kcals = 1 pound of fat. So if you burn 500, seven days a week, you are roughly looking at 1 pound per week weight loss. Don't forget diet! Also, there is no way the machine can tell you how much carbs you are using. The only thing that can do that is a Metabolic Cart which measure your respiratory exchange ratio.
2. Take 65%-75% of your Age Predicted Max Heart Rate for cardio.

If you want to actually measure your MHR while on a treadmill. Buy a heart rate monitor and have somebody gradually increase the speed and % incline until you can no longer go, this would be your "Actual MHR."

That would require you to add LBM at the same time. That is very difficult under the best of circumstances.

what do you mean? i thought the point of cuttin -> bulking -> cutting -> bulking, was to get mass up -> loose fat -> get mass up -> loose fat.
say a person is 160 pounds. they cut, bulk, cut, bulk. what is the point of gaining mass to 175, if they have to cut there overall body weight back down alot thru cutting?
