lol funny kuz my legs platued a while back, i always do about same thing usually
5 sets leg ext's 20reps each leg (theraputic reasons)
1-2 sets leg press moderately light for blood flow SLOW REPS stretch it.
4-5 sets Squats heavy sets 6-10 reps
3 Sets walking lunges 8 - 12 reps each leg thats like 16-24 steps
i dont do curls because squats always fry my hams due to my ELITE FORM and really slow 5:2 tempo 5 seconds down 2 up=big tear on eccentric motion.
Worked great thus far but all things need change so i tried SC's Leg protocol the other day its a 20 rep scheme. it wore me out but nothing special... next day from wat i heard i expected to be really sore.. nothing... NOTHING AT ALL i was like, ha maybe i will still grow... then yesterday 2nd day after, i sat down for like 2 hrs straight (had class) then i tried to get up and it hit me ROFL such stupid stiff pain it was truely a new type of pain i ever felt. usually when i hurt its DEAP Ache this was like all over stiffness w/ slight pain ALL OVER the muscle not just in a localized area NEAT.
    !!THANKS SC!!

First off I'd make sure your diet is centered around your goals. As far as training heavy. I personally have always had better luck hitting legs pretty heavy and lower reps. The occasional higher rep scheme does wonders for a change, but for sheer size I'd opt for the heavier choice.

go heavy or go home!!!!!!!! use good form hit the squats, straight leg deads, and leg press, occasionally mix it up and hit some giant sets with reps. maybe every couple weeks.

heavy squats= huge legs, its as easy as that, stick with 4 sets of 4-6 reps
