Many do them twice.
I treat them like every other bodypart myself.

if ya got some big ass calves, do em once a week, if u got little tiny baby ones and ur not doing any other exercises that already involve calves to a great extent (jumproping, soccer) then hit em twice week.
and abs, you should be hittin those at least 3 times a week....if not more
i hit them twice a week. one workout is higher rep and one is lower. if i am running a lot, then i drop the high rep calf workout
I was doing them 3 times a week but I'm going back down to 2.

Calves twice a week for sure...mine dont grow without it. Abs, barely every to be honest...but I'd say 2-3 light ab days a week when trying to bring them out.
im so glad i got genetic uber calves :( jumprope IMO is best ever for them if you do it boxer style. BEST because its nothing but continues negative motionsQuote:

I hate my calves. **** genetics, I train mine usually twice a week, but they still don't grow.
abs should be an everyday thang! TRUTH!
I used to do calves and abs 3x a week..... but I found that in order to make my calves grow I had to do them ED I train.... and it works wonders. As for abs, I actually decreased them and only do them 1-2 times a week, because I've found working abs for anything other than strengthening them is pointless. If you want them to show, go on a diet & do some cardio! :D
I do calves twice a week and abs every other day, it works pretty good for me I have seen a big improvement from doing my calves twice a week.
