Please help-pain w cardio

lm looking for an answer to my problem. When ever i get on the treadmill, stairmaster stationary bike anything like that, to do my cardio my toes go totally numb after 7 minutes. It is so uncomfortable that i have to get off and walk around for 15 min to stop. When i take spin class my toes go numb but much less and that is if im standing for long periods. However the stationary bike my legs are extended outward and not up and down and still that numbness won't stop.
Foot dr told me to use gel pads in my sneakers but that was worthless. Anyone have any idea what's up with that. Anyone else have that problem?

I get the same problem and I spoke to other people doing cardio at my gym and they get it too. I find it eases up after about 20 minutes, just gotta push through the numbness!!

Your numbness is a disfunction with the nerves. Higher bp or chemical imbalances. However, I would check for diabetis first. Paresthesias is a form of diabetic pheripheral nueropathy a very common symptom. Sciatic never blocks affecting circulation can cause it. I would seek another specialist because your current podiatrist sounds incapable to diagnosis. What you are experiencing is not normal(assumming you are aas free). Also get some PH blood levels check because above 7 is acidic and will affect extremities. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. It started out only happening on the stairmaster and has progressed through the years. Probably about 7 years now. It's impossible to push through during a workout. Would you suggest a podiatrist or neurologist along with getting my blood work done.

I am not doctor, but if you have insurance see both but start with the podiatrist. Family doc can check for diabetis.
