    How High

    How high do you raise you arm when doing front raises w/db?

    depends on rep scheme. When do high reps(lower weight) i usually raise to almost head level. Lower reps(heavier weight) ill stick to 90 degrees.

    90 degrees, but I almost never do front raises.

    it is safe to lift to your chin but anymore is unnessarally straining

    It feels like it gives the muscle a full flex. You can feel that the muscle gets much harder when goin all the way up.

    When bringing the dumbbells overhead, you'll be activating your traps more as they elevate the shoulder. If you're looking to isolate the anterior delts, don't go any higher than shoulder level.
