what ive been doing for the last couple of months is using the stationary bike for 20-30 mins and then go to either a stair climber or stair master for 15 or 20 min, 4 days a week......it works, dropped a dime so far. i ran enough in the service, i hate to run now

Depending on your goals, you need to make sure your heart rate is at your target rate for burning fat, and not too high that you'll be burning muscle. A steady jog is about right...also i read somewhere that if you are at about 80-90% of your max heart rate at the beginning of your cardio (the first 15 minutes) you will burn fat more efficiently for the rest of your cardio and burn more fat throughout the day
