    Question quick (stupid) question

I work at lowes for some extra cash over the summer. i push carts and load stuff up. i just realized i probably walk about 10-12 miles a day at work. so if i am pushing carts and doing a pretty nice pace, how many calories am i burning in just one mile? keep in mind im walking but im pushing carts, how many do you think?, im just interested in knowing...

it will be very hard to give you a guestimate on this b/c you are not doing a steady movement for a certain amount of time at a certain heart rate. They will be varying time to time. You may can burn 500 cals in a walking session on a treadmill, but that doesnt mean that you will be burning the same amount in your instance.

also depends on how heavy the carts are... you really can't give a good estimate on this, I wouldn't rely on it to be your cardio though.
