Has anyone ever tried these for side delts?

Has anyone ever tried this exercise?

    http://abcbodybuilding.com/excercise...20laterals.htm

It says it's for the side delts but I feel it mostly in my front delts.

Is this a side delt exercise?

Bad range of motin imo. Sid lats are best for working the side of the delt, but when you take and bring your shoulder past 90 dgs you are no longer working that part of the muscle

Does it hit your side or rear delts at all?

Has anyone ever had good results with their front delt development using this exercise?

Also, if its a front delt exercise why does it say on that website and in Arnolds encyclopedia that it's a side delt exercise?

personally i think doing flyes like that is a huge waste of energy and time, much better ways to hit the medial delt

actually it works really well as long as you go deep w/ them and dont bring them straight above you ... you want your arms to still be angled OUT from you not over your head.. but yeah not my fav..

So is this a side delt exercise or not?

I don't think it is but in Arnolds book and on that website it says it is a side delt exercise.

bro, try them for yourself which head is being stressed, then you'll see...

as soon as you start rotating your arm to raise the weight about shoulder height or a little higher, it no longer becomes a "medial delt" exercise so why continue the exercise pass this point if the desired area is no longer being stimulated?
