    what do u guys think of my routine

    this is my new training split. i want to hit my rear delts more and incorporate hams in more too.

    day 1) chest, tri's
    day 2) back, rear delts
    day 3) quads, hams
    day 4) off
    day 5) shoullders, bi's
    day 6) traps, calves
    day 7)off


    my old routine was
    day 1)chest tri's
    day 2)bi's back
    day 3) quads, calves
    day 4)off
    day5)shoulders, traps.
    day 6)off
    day7)off

    i tried to seperate the workouts so that im not hittin similar muscles somedays, i do 12-15 sets on each muscle, what do u guys think,

    personally I like old routine better..and 12-15 sets seems like a little much for each muscle..especially when u start doing 12-15 sets of chest then move on to triceps and they already got a lot of work from the chest workout.
    ALso, do u do squats and deadlifts?

    yeah the old routine worked out pretty well, but like i said i need to make my shoulders look fuller, and the most lackin part is the rear delt. yeah i do both squats and deads. one of the best feelings is doin clean deep reps on sqauts. i've been doin deads but i dont go to heavy cuase i need to get those wrist straps, and i havent found anywere that has them. i need to find a sports authority.

    Or try getting some chalk that really helps. How much do u dead..without straps helps develope the forearms bigtime but once you get past a certain weight its da*n near impossible to hold it without it slipping out.

    yeah thats why im hesitatin a lil on gettin the straps cause i cant let my forearms get any smaller. i usually do 225 about 8 times which is about when it starts to slip out. those numbers suck, but i've only been doin them for about 1.5 months, there very effective though.

    try bumping up the weight and doing less reps...I've found that doing singles or triples with deadlifts is very very effective.

    yeah for that i'll def. need straps. i did deads today so i got a week to get them.
