yo sc, wanted your take on forced-reps and negitives. Thanks

They have their place in workouts just as other "shock" techniques, yes.
I like negatives better than forced reps myself, as the negative or eccentric loading phase of the movement is what stresses the actual muscle itself, and not the tendons that connect to the muscle. That is how you build muscular strength.
Ever notice how much weight you can "hold" or "resist" on the negative portion of a movement? Then try to do that same weight doing the concentric portion of the movement, and it's impossible.
