Do any of you keep training journals
Do any of you guys keeps workout journals to keep track of your progress in the gym? I assume that those of you that do cycles keep a journal*although I could be wrong*as it makes tracking your progression alot easier.Since I started on creatine I decided to keep a journal just so I could keep track of any improvments in my performance/strength

I always keep a journal. I started it in Jan 2001 and have every workout since then up to the present.

I kept a journal ever since i started lifting in 7th grade. It helps set personal records.

yep... been using a training journal for as long as I've been serious about lifting.. I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with everything without it.

I need a training log cos i'm a bit slow. Can never remember my weights, reps or when I was at he gym.
I remember one new thing and it pushes something else out.

1. Make an 8-week chart of what is to be done. (goals and activity numbers)
2. make a daily journal to keep track
3. You are always aware of what you are doing that day/ goals you are working towards BEFORE you go to the gym
These are the rules laid down by Ed Corney, and I follow them to the T. You'd be surprised at how much you can miss during 8 weeks(without it)!
