deads and recovery/traps w bent over rows

I have two seperate questions. First is, I did squats 2 days ago and I'm sore as hell because I did stiff leg deads first time in awhile. My ass was sore too and today I did deadlifts and I couldn't lift sh** because my ass/hamstrings were so sore. I was told to do deadlift on back day but it seems like I'm overtraining my glutes/lower back by doing that.

Second one is, when I was working out yesterday I was doing shrugs this guy was talking to me and today when I was doing bent over rows the same guy was like you know, you should work bent over rows on trap/shoulder day because you are hitting the traps during them. Any comments on this?

1. I don’t like to train back when my legs are sore, dead lifting is a hard task and I feel that I may be overtraining my legs.. maybe you could work it so you do back while your legs are fully recovered

2.(Back and traps) (shoulder and traps) its your choice I personally do them on back day, as you said they get a lot of stimulation during deadlifts, you don’t need much though 2-3 sets of shrugs in there somewhere should be sufficient..So yes I would say your traps get good stimulation during rows and other movements... as with shoulders..
