    how often to train traps?

My traps are lagging a bit and i want them bigger... alot bigger actually... i usually superset them with shoulders doin a shoulder ex. then barbell shrugs then another shoulder ex. then dumbell shrugs after that ill finish my shoulders and traps by doing an excerise that hits both of them... I am doing this once a week... Can i train them more then that? thank

I just do heavy deadlifts and that's about all I need.

Every once in a while I'll do direct work, but they grow from the bigger movements.

Do some standing barbell rows on shoulder day. But I agree with Swole, I rarely train traps directly.

only thing ill do for traps is db shrugs (heavy) and bb shrugs in the front of me (not real heavy but very controlled and ill pinch at the top and hold for a few seconds)... ill do about 3-4sets for each followed by my delt exercises....also like swole said big compound movements will help alot so be sure ur doing ur deads on back day and so forth

none.. I think mine are developing from heavy rows and deadlifts.. They are in proportion to the rest of my body and i havent done anything in 10 weeks to isolate them.

I'm just the opposite of these guys..4 sets of seated dumbell shrugs twice a week for me to grow traps..Everyone is different..Also keep in mind I do not do deadlifts because I have lower back problems.
